Reconfirmation and the I'll be there button
A booking made two weeks ago is easy to forget. Tellfox reminds your customers before they come, and asks them to say they’ll be there. You see at a glance who did, and who you might want to call.
How customers reconfirm
Section titled “How customers reconfirm”-
Before the booking, the customer gets a reminder by LINE or email with the buttons I’ll be there, Reschedule and Cancel.
-
They tap I’ll be there. A page opens: Confirm you’ll be there, with one button.
-
They tap it: “Thank you, the business knows you are coming. See you then!”
When reminders go out
Section titled “When reminders go out”| Reminder | When |
|---|---|
| The day before | 24 hours before the booking (for a stay: 9:00 the day before check-in) |
| On the day | 3 hours before the booking (not for stays) |
Both are on to start with. Switch either off in Settings → Notifications (see Settings).
A few things keep reminders sensible:
- A booking made after the reminder’s time isn’t reminded: the confirmation has just told the customer.
- A customer who already tapped I’ll be there doesn’t get the same-day reminder.
- A booking that moves is reminded again for its new time, and its I’ll be there mark is cleared.
- A customer with neither LINE nor an email can’t be reminded. Call them instead.
What you see
