Take a queue number at the shop
This page is written for the customers of a shop that uses the Tellfox queue. Shops can send this page to customers as it is.
Take a number on your phone: no app to download, no sign-up and no name.
Take a number
Section titled “Take a number”-
Scan the queue QR code at the shop’s door or counter with your phone camera or LINE.
-
The shop’s page shows Take a number with how many are waiting and about how long.
-
Tap your party size under How many people, or choose the service. The Your number page opens.
Taken in LINE, the ticket goes with your LINE account. If you don’t want messages, tick No LINE messages: I’ll watch the page before tapping the party size.
Your number
Section titled “Your number”Your number shows your number, the line, how many are ahead (3 ahead of you or You’re next), about how long, and the status. The page updates by itself: keep it open to see your place.
When it’s your turn, the page says It’s your turn: please come to the counter and your number shows on the shop’s screen. Come to the counter within the time the shop has set, or your number is skipped.
If the shop already knows you, the page also shows Your stamp card and the Coupons you can use today.
LINE alerts
Section titled “LINE alerts”You get at most 2 LINE messages: when it’s almost your turn, and when you’re called. While the page is open, no message is sent: you already see it there.
If you took the number outside LINE, tap Get alerts on LINE. The chat opens with a message ready: press send, and the page shows LINE alerts are on.
Leave the queue
Section titled “Leave the queue”Not waiting any more? Tap Leave the queue and confirm, so the shop can call the next number sooner.
Can’t wait? Book a time instead
Section titled “Can’t wait? Book a time instead”For some services, when the wait is long, the page shows Can’t wait? Book a time instead. Pick a free time today (Book that time) or Another day. Once the booking is made, your number is given up and you get the usual booking confirmation.
Already booked
Section titled “Already booked”With a booking, you don’t need a new number. When you arrive:
- open the link in your booking message and tap I’m here, or
- scan the QR code at the door, tap Have a booking? and type your booking code or the phone number you booked with.
You get a number at your booked time. See Look at, move or cancel a booking.
Take a number before arriving
Section titled “Take a number before arriving”Some shops let you take a number with LINE before you arrive. When you’re near the shop, its page in LINE shows Join from where you are, and your location is asked for once. When you get to the shop, tap I’m here on the ticket page. When you’re called, come in and press I’m here within the hold time, or your number is skipped.
