Queue, customers and loyalty

The queue uses the same customers and loyalty as your bookings, so a walk-in is more than a number: it is a customer who can come back.

  • A customer who takes a number in LINE is saved as your customer, or linked to the one you already have.
  • When a known customer is served from the queue, it counts as a visit on the customer page, and stays there after the ticket is deleted.
  • Live shows known customers with a name, the visit number and a birthday this week.
  • The customer’s ticket page shows the stamp card and the coupons usable today.

Under Queue settings › The queue and the loyalty card (when your stamp card is on):

Field What it does
A stamp when a known customer is served from the queue A known customer gets a stamp once served from the queue
Sorry for the wait: a bonus stamp when the wait went past the one promised When the wait went past the one shown at joining by more than More than this past the promised wait (minutes), the customer gets a bonus stamp
Left the queue: a coupon on the customer’s card the next day A customer who left the queue gets the coupon chosen under The coupon the next day, from 09:00

Each is given at most once per customer per day, and no paid LINE messages are sent.

A customer waiting in the line of an Appointment and queue service sees Can’t wait? Book a time instead when the wait is longer than Offer “book a time instead” when the wait is over (minutes) (30 minutes by default, in Queue settings).

  • The customer sees today’s free times. A known customer books in one tap, and the ticket ends by itself.
  • Anyone else goes to your booking page.
  • It is a normal booking: on the calendar, with the usual confirmation.

When a branch has both the queue and the Tables add-on:

  • On Tonight, when no table is free for a walk-in party, tap Give a queue number and the party gets a number.
  • Waiting numbers show under Queue on Tonight. When a table frees up, tap Seat and the party is seated in one tap.
  • Front desk people use both pages, and are counted once for both.
