Call numbers on the Live page

Live is the desk’s page, made for a phone or tablet with big buttons. Everyone who works at the branch can open it, the Front desk role included. It updates every few seconds, so several devices at the desk show the same queue. If more than one branch has the queue on, choose the branch first.

  1. Tap Call next for the line (for example Call next · A). The number moves to Called now, shows under Now serving on the display, and the customer gets a LINE alert.

  2. When the customer reaches the counter, tap Here. The ticket is then not skipped when the hold time ends.

  3. When the service is done, tap Served.

The other buttons of a called ticket:

  • Recall: calls the same number again.
  • Skip: the customer isn’t there. The ticket moves to Skipped today.

A called customer who doesn’t come within the hold time set in Queue settings is skipped automatically.

The N waiting list shows every line’s tickets in order, with the party size, the service and the time waited (just joined or waited 12 min). A Booked tag marks a booked customer who has checked in, and From afar a ticket taken from outside the shop. Next to the heading you see how many were served today.

A customer you already know shows with a name, the visit number and birthday this week when it applies, for example “Malee · visit 5”. Every role sees just that: no notes, phone numbers or money.

For a customer who didn’t scan the QR code, for example an older customer or someone without a phone:

  1. Under New ticket, choose the People or the Service (whatever the lines are by).

  2. The page shows New ticket A014: tell the customer the number.

No name or customer details are needed.

Today’s bookings lists the bookings still to come today. Tap Arrived when a booked customer comes in, and the customer joins the queue at the booked time. See Bookings and check-in.

Skipped today lists the skipped tickets. If a customer comes back, tap Put back at the end.

Under Find a ticket, type the ticket number (like A013) or at least the last 4 digits of a phone number, then tap Find. From the results you can tap Served, Skip or Put back at the end.
