Bookings and check-in to the queue
The queue works with your Tellfox bookings. A booked customer doesn’t wait behind the walk-ins: after checking in, the customer gets a ticket at the booked time.
Three ways to check in
Section titled “Three ways to check in”- I’m here on the booking page: the customer opens the link in the booking message. The At the shop? box has an I’m here button, open from the time set in Booked customers can check in this early (minutes) (30 minutes by default).
- The door QR code: the customer scans the QR code at the door, taps Have a booking? and types the booking code or the phone number booked with (in LINE, Tellfox already knows the customer).
- Arrived on Live: the desk taps Arrived next to the customer under Today’s bookings, any time that day.
Each way records that the customer has arrived and makes a ticket at the booked time, with a Booked tag on Live.
The order in the line
Section titled “The order in the line”- Booked customers are called first, once the booked time has come.
- Walk-ins are called in the gaps between bookings.
- On a tie, the booked customer goes first.
When a booked customer doesn’t come
Section titled “When a booked customer doesn’t come”If a booked customer’s ticket is called and the customer doesn’t come within the hold time, the ticket is marked as a no-show. The booking itself is never changed: you handle it in the calendar as usual (see Move, cancel or mark a no-show).
