Switch on Ticketing and make an event

Ticketing sells tickets to your workshops, talks and other one-off events from the event’s own page. Buyers pay by PromptPay straight into your account, get tickets with a QR code by LINE or email, and your team scans them at the door. See the Ticketing page for the overview.

Switch it on

Ticketing is free to switch on, on every plan, Free included. Only an owner can switch it on.

  1. Go to Plan & add-ons and open the Add-ons tab.

  2. On the Ticketing card, tap Switch on Ticketing.

  3. The menu gets an Events group: All events and Door scan.

Set up PromptPay for paid tickets

Free events need nothing more. For paid tickets, go to Settings › Payments and enter your PromptPay number (a mobile number, a 13-digit ID or tax number, or a 15-digit e-wallet number). Scan the test QR with your banking app: it should show your account name and 1 baht. You don’t need to pay it.

Make an event

Section titled “Make an event”

  1. Go to Events › All events and tap + New event.

  2. Enter the Event name, a Description, the Date with Starts and Ends, and the Venue with a Map link. An event that ends after midnight works: an end time before the start is the next morning.

  3. Under Tickets, add one or more ticket types: a name, a Price (0 for free), How many and, if you like, On sale from and On sale until dates. Say Early bird at ฿500 until 1 November, then Standard at ฿700.

  4. Under Selling, choose when sales close (left empty, until the event starts), the most tickets per order and the Time to pay for PromptPay.

  5. Look at the Preview beside the form: the event page and the card LINE shows when the link is shared.

  6. Tap Save draft, then add a Cover photo on the next page.

Publish

Open the event and tap Publish. The event page is now at tellfox.app/e/ and the page address. Copy the link and share it in LINE or anywhere else. Pause sales stops sales for a while; Hide the event page takes the page down (tickets already sold stay valid).
